The Afro Summer Jam Fashion Show is more than just a catwalk – it is a stage for diversity, equality and inclusion. Under the inspiring motto “Our Differences Are Our Superpowers”, we celebrate fashion as an expression of our uniqueness and strength.
In an industry that is often characterized by norms and stereotypes, we are sending a clear message: beauty knows no boundaries. Our models represent the diversity of our society – regardless of age, body shape, skin color or ability. Whether young or old, curvy, slim or with physical disabilities – each individual brings his or her superpower to the catwalk.
Diversity that moves
Our fashion show breaks with old ways of thinking and creates a platform where everyone is seen, heard and celebrated. From bold cuts and bright colors to designs that tell stories, every outfit reflects the spirit of inclusion.
This show is a tribute to all who believe that true beauty lies in diversity. With every step on the catwalk, our models prove that our differences make us strong – they make us unique.

The backstage area of the Afro Summer Jam Fashion Show is a place where creativity, energy and teamwork come together. This is where the real magic happens: from the first brushstroke to the last stroke of hairspray, every look is brought to life with passion and precision.
The stylists and make-up artists are artists who emphasize the diversity and individuality of our models. They are inspired by the models’ unique stories and create beauty looks that go far beyond the ordinary. Every hairstyle, every make-up tells a story – from bold, vibrant colors to minimalist designs that subtly express elegance and strength.

The Afro Summer Jam Fashion Show would not have been the same without the magical hands and creative vision of our hair and make-up team. Every hairstyle and make-up was a work of art that emphasized the diversity and beauty of our models. With great attention to detail and tireless effort, they made a statement with every look ❤️
Hairstyling: Iconic looks for unique personalities
Our 22 models who walked the catwalk on Saturday and Sunday each had different hairstyles – a true masterpiece of creativity and professionalism. From the first to the last model, our team showed that hair is much more than styling: it is an expression of culture, individuality and strength. Braided works of art, defined curls, voluminous afros and avant-garde updos – every detail was executed to perfection.
Make-up: the art of emphasizing individuality
The make-up team emphasized the uniqueness of each model and told stories with their looks. From bold, bright colors to soft, natural tones – the creations were versatile, inspiring and perfectly coordinated with the outfits. With each look, our make-up artists showed that true beauty lies in diversity.
Team spirit and passion
There is an electrifying atmosphere behind the scenes. The team works hand in hand to ensure that every detail is right. There is laughter, concentrated work and spontaneous improvisation – the backstage area is a vibrant mix of creativity and organization.
Special thanks go to Sharviene from Sha’s Hairsalon, who traveled all the way from Holland to support us with her talent. It was an honor to meet and work with her. Her knowledge, passion and energy enriched the backstage area.
A huge thank you also to Alvin from Plata Machine, who supported us with his expertise and incomparable charisma. His calmness and professionalism were a valuable support in the often hectic backstage area.
